Belmonte Elementary School Playground

Saugus, MA, significantly improved the Belmonte School by addressing both interior and exterior needs. Notably, the project replaced a large expanse of asphalt with engaging outdoor spaces. A new entry sequence now leads to a three-level playground with safety surfacing, and a terraced plaza provides an area for outdoor activities. The introduction of trees and shrubs brings nature closer to the students. Additional site improvements, such as improved service access, secure trash storage, a refined district office entrance, and upgraded stormwater drainage, further enhanced the school's functionality.
