Armenian Heritage Park
Situated on the Rose Kennedy Greenway, between Faneuil Hall and Christopher Columbus Park, the Armenian Heritage Park pays homage to the general immigrant experience and Armenian genocide of 1915. Collaborating with Tellalian Associates Architects & Planners, the park design centered on passive and active recreation. An abstract sculpture, dodecagon shaped metal sculpture that can be re-assembled into 36 different shapes, is placed on a recirculating reflection water table. The second element is a walking labyrinth in the grass lawn celebrating life’s journey and symbolizes an immigrants journey and transformation into the American society.
